CraneWorks, Inc. is adding three new Demag AC 100-4L, one AC 300-6, four AC 160-5 and three AC 220-5 all terrain cranes and eight new Terex Crossover 8000 boom truck cranes to its inventory.
This fleet addition will allow CraneWorks to meet the needs of its customers by helping them be more productive on the job. The company has seen a significant increase in demand for Demag all terrain cranes since the brand was reintroduced to the marketplace in 2016, and steady demand for Terex boom truck cranes
“Our customers are impressed with everything the Demag and Terex name stands for,” said Keith Ayers, CEO of CraneWorks. “Demag all terrain cranes lead their respective lift capacity classes in performance, compact design and onboard technology. All of these features give our customers a superior working experience. And, the Terex Crossover 8000 boom truck cranes is one of the best machines of its kind on the market today.”
The four-axle Demag AC 100-4L crane is a popular model among CraneWorks’ customer base. The 120-US ton (100 tonne) capacity class crane is compact, can travel at highway speeds and has a maximum system length of 268 feet (81.7 m). It is well suited for a wide range of lifting applications.
The additional Demag all terrain cranes share many of the same features including the Demag IC-1 Plus control system. The system determines the crane’s lifting capacity for every position of the boom subject to the slewing angle of the superstructure in real time. Lifting capacity for a specific radius is no longer limited to the lowest value for a pre-calculated 360° lifting capacity. Instead, the crane can always take full advantage of the maximum available lifting capacity, which is particularly useful when it comes to lifts requiring an asymmetric outrigger setup.
In addition, the Terex Crossover 8000 boom truck with a maximum lifting capacity of 80 US tons and a 126 ft main boom, offers contractors versatility that is cost-effective and productive in a wide range of lifting applications.
CraneWorks is a leading North American provider of Terex boom truck cranes and Demag all terrain cranes with locations throughout the United States and Canada.
