[Job Story] The Customized Hitachi Saga Continues: a Look at Johnny Tveit’s Last Excavator Designs

Norwegian Hitachi customer, Kartevoll has carried out a special artistic project: decorating the ZX210LC-5 Crawler Excavator, with graphics inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean films. Five years later, the project has been followed by another work of art: an illustrated ZX250LC-6 painted with the entire history of the company. Johnny Tveit, the operator who worked with these two painted machines, has recently come out with an ultimate project: a ZX225USLC-7 adorned with an artistic tribute to Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen.

Johnny and Vidar Kartevoll are of the same idea, they agree that they don’t need any bigger machines for the current projects. Johnny, who has also tested a ZX135US from the new Zaxis-7 series, is looking forward to putting the new machine to use, he has a lot of faith in the project. The last machine is inspired by Formula 1 because Vidar’s son, Kenneth, who also works for the company, and Johnny are interested in Formula 1. Vidar Kartevoll, owner and General Manager of the company, said that this project aims to do advertisement, the cost of this is less than a newspaper one and lasts much longer.
