New HIAB iQ.708 HIPRO Loader Crane: Same V12-Power Boom Profile for a 60-70tm Range

Hiab launches HIAB IQ.708 HIPRO a heavy loader crane from the next generation HIAB cranes. The model offers a design that balances weight, lifting performance and dimensions that contribute to increased safety, valuable payload and expanding the range of truck installation options for customers.  With an increased lifting capacity compared to previous models, the HIAB iQ.708 HIPRO offers customers improved performance in an optimized frame regarding dimensions and weight.

Thanks to most advanced control system SPACEevo, the HIAB iQ.708 HIPRO provides advanced functions for veteran and novice operators alike. This new loader crane is a perfect example of the modular approach behind Hiab’s design philosophy, by scaling the V12-Power boom profile to a crane in the 60 to 70tm range category to make the iQ.708 HIPRO an all-rounder unit for its segment. The HIAB iQ.708 HIPRO has a maximum vertical reach of 40 meters and with a JIB of 15 tm, it can deliver materials with an “up and over” of 26 meters.

Hiab introducing the Syncronized Distance Control (SDC) function needs to assist operators during complex operations with the iQ.708 HIPRO, this allows it to automatically keep the load at a set distance from the crane’s tip while only having to operate the extension movements from the remote. This reduces the need to operate multiple levers at the same time while increasing safety. It is very useful when handling loads that are farther and higher away from the operator, where visibility becomes the main obstacle to a safe movement. The Load Stability System for vertical movements (LSS-V) compensates for unintentionally excessive lever movement in vertical operations, while the Variable Stability Logic PLUS (VSL+) feature optimizes lifting capacity by monitoring the position and pressure of the stabilizer legs actively using the available load on the truck. All the above features are complemented by the CD4 remote control, which provides operators with three large displays visible in all light conditions, haptic feedback for alerts and crane reactions, and battery with personalized operator crane settings. Ordering of the new unit will begin in Q4 of 2024.

Hiab offers HiPeror smart solutions that enhance performance and productivity. Whether optimizing fleet efficiency, improving operator safety, or extending equipment longevity, customers can choose from proactive maintenance, telematics, or simulator training solutions tailored to their needs. With the HiConnect telematics data solution, crane owners gain real-time insights into equipment conditions, allowing for informed decisions that reduce downtime and boost productivity. As an additional benefit for the customer, the ProCare service contract provides comprehensive preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections to ensure cranes operate at peak performance. These smart solutions are designed to help customers maximizes the value of their Hiab equipment, ensuring long-term reliability, safety, and performance.
