Petre Babiceanu, 20 years of experience in the role of General Manager and a master’s degree in civil engineering is the new General Manager of Zoomlion Europe. His first post at Terra Holding was as Country Manager, when he was responsible for setting up the group’s business in Romania. He later acted as South-East Regional Director and then as Group General Manager for Lifting Machinery, overseeing the development and distribution of various brands in the construction sector and starting a new lifting division.

After an initial phase of structuring the offer and product development, the company is also growing in organisational terms, which is why they have recently inaugurated a new factory that will employ 80 people when fully operational. It is clear, therefore, how important it is for an expanding company to have a General Manager who is dependable but also farsighted as Babiceanu, in order to achieve these challenging objectives.
