Tobias Eichberg is the new Managing Director of the Exhibitions Department of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) and DLG Service, headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. Eichberg succeeds Peter Grothues, who will be retiring on 31 July.
Tobias Eichberg has accumulated more than 25 years’ experience, in both the international agricultural machinery industry and the global exhibition sector.
After graduating from the University of Hohenheim where he studied agricultural sciences, Eichberg worked in various management positions in the agricultural machinery and commercial vehicle industry.
From 2004 to 2008, Eichberg was project manager for Agritechnica, the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, and later worked as a strategic consultant for international exhibitions.
Latterly, Eichberg was responsible for international marketing at a leading global manufacturer of tractors and construction machinery.
