Premier’s stump planing auger is available in 2 sizes, 12″ diameter and 16″ diameter. The 12″ is available in 2″ hex and 2-9/16″ round attaching collars and the 16″ is available in 2″ hex and 2-1/2″ hex collars. These stump planers are able to be used on mini skid steers, skid steers, compact track loaders, tractors, backhoes and excavators.
Their heavy-duty 3/4″ flighting provides superior support to the dual cutting edges. Having this flighting on the stump planer also helps in removing the shavings from the cutting edges keeping the blades in constant contact with the stump. Their high-quality alloy cutting edges are engineered and designed to last. They can easily be removed and sharpened when needed. Their durable spiral centre point is engineered to pull the stump planer into the stump so that little down pressure is needed. This heavy-duty centre point is easily replaceable as well.
They would recommend that the 12″ diameter stump planer would be best suited on most standard flow drive units. The big 16″ stump planer bit would be best matched up to one of the many high torque drive units they produce. Either of these sizes would be a great match to one of their two-speed drive units as well.
