Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Aramine has announced its participation in Bauma 2025. At Bauma 2025, Aramine will present its latest innovation, the L440B, a battery-powered loader designed to enhance underground mining operations. Several units are already on their way to customers worldwide, marking an important milestone for the industry.

The Battery-Powered L440B Loader

The L440B stands out as the only battery-powered loader that does not require fixed infrastructure for charging inside the mine. Featuring an integrated charger, it can recharge anywhere, eliminating the need for costly or complex installations.

Aramine has developed a slow-charging technology combined with an ultra-fast battery swap system. This ensures smooth integration into mining operations while avoiding infrastructure challenges. The “Energy Module” is designed to withstand extreme underground conditions, such as temperature variations, impacts, and corrosion. By utilizing LFP battery technology, safety and reliability are prioritized while mitigating risks associated with other battery chemistries.

Building on the success of the L140B, introduced in 2016, the L440B reflects Aramine’s commitment to sustainable and practical innovation. With order books full for 2025 and 2026, the demand for this machine highlights the industry’s confidence in Aramine’s approach to battery technology.

Expanding the Global Distribution Network

To support continued sales growth, Aramine is accelerating the expansion of its global distribution partnerships in 2025. With 450 machines currently in operation and a double-digit annual growth rate, the company is strategically extending its network to better serve clients worldwide.

To ensure proximity to customers, Aramine continues to expand its international presence, working with distributors and subsidiaries that possess deep knowledge of their local markets. Currently, the network includes 80 distributors across five continents and three subsidiaries, with 54% of revenue generated through indirect sales.

To meet the increasing demand in the coming years, Aramine is constructing a new factory in southern France, near its existing sites. Strategically located on a former mining site, this facility will support expanding operations.

Several joint ventures are also in development, ensuring that Aramine remains at the forefront of underground mining solutions while maintaining the agility needed for substantial business growth.

E-Commerce Platform

Under the Smartparts brand, Aramine provides genuine spare parts and components for underground mining loaders, mining trucks, underground drill rigs, and bolters. With a catalog of 1.5 million items, the company offers competitive pricing and fast global delivery.

The multi-brand spare parts and components, available in new or remanufactured conditions, cover all essential underground machine needs, including axles, engines, converters, gearboxes, rock drills, hydraulic components, transmissions, differentials, and brakes.

In 2022, Aramine embraced digital transformation with the launch of shop.aramine.com, simplifying and accelerating the ordering process. As the first multi-brand online platform dedicated to spare parts, the e-shop has experienced exponential growth, driven primarily by word-of-mouth recommendations. With triple-digit growth rates, this momentum is expected to continue in the coming months and years.

To support this rapid expansion, Aramine is further upgrading its fully automated distribution center by integrating additional Kardex storage systems at its main warehouse in southern France. This investment will optimize inventory management, ensuring even faster and more reliable service for customers worldwide.

Sustainability at the Core

Staying true to its founding commitments, Aramine continues to strengthen its CSR initiatives. Beyond developing eco-friendly machines, the company invests in renewable energy projects, equipping its factories with solar panels and offering customers solar stations to power battery-operated machines. Its historic remanufacturing program remains a key priority, giving mining equipment a second life.

Recognizing that a company’s success depends on its people, Aramine prioritizes workplace well-being, fostering a positive environment for its multicultural teams.

Despite global challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical disruptions, Aramine has successfully navigated these uncertainties by investing in ambitious, forward-thinking projects. This resilience positions the company for strong future growth and new opportunities in the underground mining sector.

The product range includes small and medium-sized section machines, such as the L440B battery-powered loader with a tramming capacity of 4.6 tons.
