Safety, Environmental Sustainability and Technological Innovation are the Protagonists at Asphaltica 2023

There are now only a few days left for the ribbon-cutting of Asphaltica, the dedicated fair to sustainable technologies and solutions for road paving and road infrastructure, promoted by SITEB (the Italian Roads and Bitumi Association) and by Veronafiere in Verona from 3 to 7 May.

Technological innovation, sustainability, safety and PNRR will be the four pillars around which it will revolve this edition which will see over 80 exhibitors showcasing road machines, technologies and solutions for safe and low environmental impact road surfaces, more than 30 conferences, workshops and insights and 1 outdoor area where machines and systems will be exhibited and demonstrations will be held demodynamics.

The event will be attended by managers and managers of public administrations and principals industry operators in the sector (road companies, machine and plant manufacturers, firms and companies industries, research laboratories, chemical industry for rubbers and additives, alternative inert materials, reinforcing and waterproofing membranes for road surfaces), representatives of national institutions e local, professors from the academic world and experts who will also discuss best practices and new ones green technologies. A moment of confrontation for a supply chain, the one linked to the world of asphalt, which in Italy worth between 18 and 20 billion euros, with 400 plants and 35,000 direct employees reaching 500,000 considering the induced. An Agora, organized by SITEB, will host initiatives on new scenarios for smart & sustainable roads in the future, with the aim of understanding at what stage the green transition of our roads is and what are the tools to make the Italian road heritage safer and further reduce the environmental impact of construction and maintenance activities.
