Yanmar Europe announces that they have taken the difficult decision to withdraw its attendance at EIMA, the international agricultural and gardening machinery exhibition in Italy in October this year.
The reasons why Yanmar decided not to take place to the exhibition
Despite the fact that measures are being taken worldwide to prevent the spread of Covid-19, and that the vaccination program is making progress, the pandemic is not yet under control. There is still a lot of uncertainty as to what activities can be safely and responsibly undertake for everyone during the course of the year. This also applies to (international) trade fairs where thousands of visitors and exhibitors gather.
Carlo Giudici, Sales Director at Yanmar Europe: “Since preparations for major events like these start months in advance, we have seen the need to already make the difficult decision not to participate in EIMA and other major trade fairs later on in the year. This decision was taken after intensive and thoughtful discussion about our plans and activities for this year and the medium term. We very much regret that, for the first time in many years, we will not be participating in EIMA. However, we continue to value and support this exhibition, which has always been important and rewarding to us. We hope to be able to join next EIMA again.”
