Bateman Groundworks Managing Director, Jason Ramsey said. “We chose Thwaites after careful consultation with our on-site team, hire suppliers and stakeholders. Whatever question we asked, whether it related to safety, quality, suitability, preference or cost of ownership, the answer came back Thwaites”.

In line with the Government’s announcement that construction should continue through the November lockdown, Bateman have identified multiple sites, across their expansive portfolio, ensuring each of the new 26, 6 tonne dumpers will go straight to work.

Chris Bunn sales manager at Thwaites approved distributor Ernest Doe, who facilitated the deal, said. “I am
delighted to conclude this sale with Bateman Groundworks, we are particularly pleased as this deal was
secured in an extremely competitive market”.

Mr Ramsey concluded, “The beginning of the pandemic gave our business time to reflect. The business has reacted well to ensure we are compliant and considered in our dealings, which we trust will serve our clients and the people of Norfolk well. We see, and are confident of, a buoyant regional market through to 2025. A market opportunity we trust, in time, will perhaps enable a more positive COVID-19 legacy of an even more efficient and productive solution for our business and clients. We thank Ernest Doe and Thwaites for the way they conducted themselves, making this deal, from a Bateman perspective, a very enjoyable customer experience”.
