HPE Africa’s comprehensive range of Hyundai construction equipment encompasses R520LC-9S excavators, which are well suited for dependable use in tough operating conditions, including mining and quarrying, demolition, plant hire and Government and municipalities.

“The Hyundai R520LC-9S series has earned a sound reputation globally for being able to cope effortlessly with challenging applications, that normally cause wear and damage to equipment. These robust machines are designed for minimal wear and reduced damage when undertaking difficult tasks, like extracting and moving large boulders and for handling granite,”

says Ross Collard, managing director of HPE Africa, part of the Capital Equipment Group (CEG) of Invicta Holdings Limited. “Positive feedback from our customers confirms that these 51 T machines – which offer high power and precision control – consistently deliver exceptional standards of performance, even in the most arduous conditions.

“In the selection of earthmoving equipment, we recommend to our customers that they select a machine specifically suited for the job at hand. It is also important that each machine is supported by the reliable services of a well-established supplier that is on-hand to undertake repairs and maintenance when necessary. The immediate availability of spares and accessories is also essential to optimise productivity and minimise downtime.”

According to the local market, significant features that make the Hyundai R520LC-9S series suitable for tough African operating conditions, include the advanced hydraulic system with an improved control valve design for added efficiency and a new swing priority system for optimum speed. For enhanced safety on site and improved operator comfort, these machines have been designed with greater cab reinforcement and unobstructed visibility. Operators are able to fully customise operating preferences to suit individual needs.
