Hitachi Construction Machinery Zambia Co., Ltd. announced that the successful expansion of it’s Reman Centre in Lusaka was completed.
The expansion has doubled the production area of the existing facility. Enabling HCMZ to meet growing current and future demands for the product in the SADC region. In addition to the Workshop increase, HCMZ has also doubled size of its Warehouse facility to enable sufficient parts to also be kept on hand ensuring minimal production delays and meet the customer demand in a timely manner.
Speaking at the opening ceremony in Lusaka, Zambia Hitachi Construction Machinery Africa President, Toshiaki Takase said that Hitachi Construction Machinery Africa is very pleased with the expansion works at its Subsidiary dealer Hitachi Construction Machinery Zambia.
Hitachi Construction Machinery Zambia President Takuji Tagawa also gave a speech in which he emphasized the expanded capacity will greatly assist in supporting HCMZ customers better. He also noted that the expanded warehouse will be able to provide much more efficient and timely spare parts to support the Reman centre operations.
